Intro
SQL Spreads 7.9.2 is a stability, performance, and security-focused release.
This version does not introduce major new features, but instead improves reliability, usability, and strengthens the overall security posture of SQL Spreads and the License Manager.
Changes
- Tree Filters now affect all sheets where the filter is used
Fixed Issues
- Fixed issue where Tree Filters stopped working when using two Tree Filter selections
- Fixed issue where the yellow preview text box was still shown when a table contained exactly 50 rows
- Fixed issue where the SQL Spreads ribbon remained active after a document was closed
- Fixed issue where all SQL Spreads settings were removed from the document when all tables were deleted
- Fixed issue where expired trial keys could open multiple web pages
- Fixed issue where the Intro dialog window did not close correctly in some cases
Stability and Performance Improvements
- Fixed issue that could cause Excel to hang after creating a diagnostic file
- Optimized caching of Excel components to improve performance
- Conflict detection is now disabled by default to improve loading performance
Security Improvements
- Hardened application obfuscation
- Strengthened local logging to avoid exposing license-related details
- Implemented randomized password field length handling to reduce disclosure of password length
- Cleaned up error messages to avoid exposing license-related information
- Restricted access to public License Manager API documentation
- Strengthened License Manager TLS security by disabling TLS 1.0/1.1 and adding downgrade attack protection (TLS Fallback SCSV)
