What databases are supported by SQL Spreads?
SQL Spreads supports all editions of Microsoft SQL Server, both on-premises and Azure SQL, including the latest release SQL Server 2025 as well as earlier versions back to SQL Server 2008.
The following authentication methods are supported:
– Windows Authentication
– SQL Server Authentication
– Azure AD Authentication (including MFA)
How is security handled in SQL Spreads?
SQL Spreads relies on SQL Server and Windows security and does not have its own mechanism to handle security to connect to the database.
SQL Spreads does not store any data outside of your local network. All data is stored on your machines and in your databases. We don’t handle any of your data.
