SQL Spreads license activation

Your SQL Spreads license will need to be activated within 15 days after installation. You can still activate the license after those 15 days, but the functionality will be limited without activating your license.

How to activate your license

Go to the SQL Spreads tab in Excel and click the About button:

In the About dialog, click the Create Machine Key button:

Then click the Send Email button to send the Machine Key to license@sqlspreads.com:

Within a day or two, you will receive your Activation Key.

When you receive your Activation Key, open the About dialog, click the Enter Activation Key button and enter your Activation Key. When the Activation Key is saved, the license status will be updated to confirm your license activation.

Useful information about your license

• You can reuse the Activation key on the same machine an unlimited number of times, so no need to generate a new machine key and activate the license as long as you are on the same machine.
• If you switch to a new machine, you can easily transfer the licenses. Enter the license key sent to you after the purchase and then generate a machine key. When sending the machine key, mention that this is a transfer of a license to a new machine.
• You can also transfer the license to another user. The process is the same as when you switch machine, just enter the license key sent to you after the purchase and then generate a machine key. When sending the machine key, mention that this is a transfer of a license to a new user.
