# Download and install

SQL Spreads is an Excel add-in for the desktop version of Excel on Windows, from Excel 2010 to Microsoft 365. The free trial is the full product for 14 days.

### Download the Free SQL Spreads 14-Day Trial

Download the SQL Spreads 14-day trial from [here](https://sqlspreads.com/download-sql-spreads/).

The free trial includes the fully functional product, limited only by time.

### Download the Commercial Installer

If you have a valid license, you should [download the commercial installer here](https://sqlspreads.com/download-sql-spreads-installer/).

### Installing SQL Spreads

1. Run the **SQLSpreadsSetup.exe** file and follow the instructions.
2. Restart Excel and accept the Add-In confirmation.
3. You will find SQL Spreads in the tab menu in Excel:

### Switch plan and role in the SQL Spreads trial

You can switch plans and try both roles directly during the trial:

3. Under **Try out the Editor and Designer roles**, choose Editor or Designer.
